Onyx HEVC Encoder

The Onyx HEVC encoder offers high-quality h.265 video compression for up to 4K UHD resolutions with exceptional compression ratios. It is suitable for remote production over leased lines or satellite and can handle multiple HD feeds with low latency. The encoder supports dual network streaming using various IP formats including SRT at up to 120Mb/s. It also features ST2022-7 technology for glitch-free recovery from network errors. Additionally, it has ASI inputs and outputs for legacy systems and satellite modem connections and built-in encryption mechanisms for content protection. The unique quad mode allows for encoding four non-synchronous HD inputs with low latencies, which is ideal for live sports event coverage. Each video output can support embedded audio and optional analog audio interfaces are available. The Onyx encoder also includes SFP cages for interfacing and a separate control port for remote management.
